Pre-arrival

• The nearest bus stop is 100 metres from the entrance
• The nearest railway station is Windermere, it is 2 miles away and there are accessible taxis at the station
• We can provide information in larger print on request
Car parking
• There is ample free parking for High Brow guests at the rear of the apartment. This car park is levelled concrete and on a slight slope although it is 100m away from the entrance
• There is on street parking to the front of the apartment (this is convenient for loading/unloading but is limited to one hour during working hours) and a pay-and-display car park
Entrance and hall
• The apartment entrance has 17 easy steps (comprising 3 steps, landing, 2 steps, landing, 5 steps, landing, 2 steps, landing and 5 steps) 19cm high, 24cm deep and 83cm wide. It has a strong metal hand rail 85cm high on the right
• Front door width 71cm, hinge to the left with a small wooden threshold 2cm high
• The key hole lock is 138cm high
• Inside the entrance, the hall is 310cm long and 96cm wide. It leads to the bathroom, living room/kitchen/diner and two bedrooms
General
• The décor is modern, with light painted walls with high quality light oak laminate flooring throughout (apart from the bathroom which has vinyl floor tiles)
• A fire alarm is fitted for the whole apartment block
• There are two smoke detectors in the hallway, one battery operated and one mains operated
Living room/kitchen/diner
• Door width 68cm, hinge to the right
• The living room/kitchen/diner is open plan
• Round, modern laminate dining table 105cm in diameter with four 43cm dining chairs
• One corner, brown leather sofa to seat four people (non feather)
• Flat screen digital TV with teletext and DVD, over two dozen recent
DVD films to view for free
• CD, radio and cassette player
Self-catering kitchen
• 91cm worktop height
• Oven door is drop down, height of lowest shelf is 43cm, can be accessed from the side
• Sink is 91cm high with cupboards underneath
• Electric, ceramic hob is 91cm high
• At least 150cm free space between all furniture and worktops
• Evenly lit kitchen with spotlights above work surfaces where required
• Good contrast between floor, cupboards and other surfaces
• Fridge with small freezer available, highest shelf in fridge is 51cm

Double bedroom (for two people)
• Door width 70cm, hinge to the right
• Full double bed, 146cm wide (4 feet 6 inches)
• Bed height 50cm floor to top of mattress
• Non feather duvets and pillows provided
• Sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases are cotton
• Transfer space available either side of the bed is 75cm
• Bed is movable if more space is required to one side
Twin bedroom (for two people)

• Two full single beds provided, 92cm wide (3 feet)
